Seven Stars Park is situated at the
eastern bank of Li River, it covers an area of more
than 1.34 square kilometers, is the largest park in
Guilin. The park got its name because its seven peaks
which are laid out like the Big Dipper constellation.

Seven Star Cave, Maping Mosque, Guihai Forest of Steles,
Flower Bridge, a Zoo, Crescent Mountain, and much more.
It has been popular since the Sui (581-618) and Tang
Flower Bridge, a 5-arch bridge in the
park was first built in Song Dynasty (960-1279) and
renovated in the Ming dynasty. The bridge is famous
for its elegant style. In ancient time, the area surrounding
the bridge was planted with wild flaming flowers in
spring, hence the name of the bridge.
The Camel Hill is a lump of rock shaped
of a huge camel, it was named so. At the foot of the
hill there is a grassy lawn, which offers a pleasant
place for a stroll. In the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644),
a recluse lived here and grew a good many plum trees.
In spring, the plum blossom and the rays of the sunrises
or sunsets drape the hill with a gorgeous glow.
Putuo Peak is the main body of the
park because of its karst caves and pavilions. At the
west belly of the mountain, you will see the renowned
Seven Stars Cave, which was an underground river a million
years ago. A length of 810 meters of the cave is open
to visitors. Fantastic multifarious stalagmites, stalactites
and stone pillars in the cave are very attractive.
