This morning drive 28 miles southward to Yangdi
Town and start your hiking tour right from here. You will hike
along the Li River to Xingping.
The total milage is about 12.4 miles and it usually takes 4
to 5 hours. During the hiking you will pass through 6 villages,
cross the river by ferry three times. The scenery on the way
is amazing and you will also have the chance to experience the
countryside life of local farmers. Take a bus ride to Yangshuo.
||Yangshuo - Guilin
Today make the best use of your limited time in China
to learn Taiji in local Taiji class. Continue to know
deeper about Yangshuo by cycling around the countryside.
After having lunch you will ride to the Yulong River and
take a 2-hour bamboo rafting tour. Drive back to Guilin.
||Guilin - Departure
Tour to the the Reed Flute Cave and the
Elephant Trunk Hill. Enjoy a pleasant walk around the scenic
Banyan Lake, Fir Lake and the Southern Ancient Gate. Transfer
to Guilin airport for your departure, end of service.
Trunk Hill: As one of the must-see attractions in Guilin,
the Elephant Trunk Hill was chosen its name because the shape
of the hill looks like a giant elephant dipping its trunk into
the river. Between the trunk and the legs of the elephant is
the "Moon-Over-Water Cave" in the shape of a full moon. On the
top of the hill there is a pagoda which was constructed in the
Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
Flute Cave: The cave is 5 kilometers from the city center,
making it a ten minute drive (half an hour by bike) from downtown.
The cave was so called because there were some verdant reeds
which could be turned into flutes at its entrance. The cave
is a magic fairyland of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars
and stone curtains in fantastic shapes, all glistening in colorful
